Puppetworks, the Park Slope marionette institution that has entertained generations of children from its Fourth Street and Sixth Avenue storefront since 1991, was forced to close this spring when the building was sold to a developer. But the story has a fairy-tale ending: the theater has found a new home at Industry City in Sunset Park, and will reopen this September with a production of Hansel & Gretel.
